Floater Frames
Custom made bright white floater frame
We designed this frame with the artist. To solve the design dilemma, artist Mary Hart and I selected a wide flat painted "mat" surrounded by a thin 3/8'' wide box frame. The opening in the "mat" panel is hand-cut to match the rounded corners of Mary's painting. This miniature painting has just a whisp of a float. Ms Hart is a miniaturist, this painting is about 3'' x 5''
